Responsible for loading and validating data into the data warehouse.
Read and translate logical data models and use ETL skills to load the physical layer, based on an understanding of timing of data loads, data transformation and optimization of ETL load performance.
Conduct unit testing and coordinate with quality assurance teams to ensure the accuracy and completeness of ETL processes.
Ability to create Mappings, Workflows, Sessions, Reusable components, Parameters, and Variable using Informatica.
Coordinate with infrastructure teams to ensure adequate capacity and performance planning.
Create and support the associated scheduling logic for the ETL using the CA Autosys scheduler.
Provides support for technical issues and ensures system availability.
Required Qualifications/Skills
6+ years of development experience in delivering ETL/database/programming solutions.
5+ years of hands-on experience with /designing/developing Informatica applications.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Expert knowledge of data modeling concepts, data warehouse, and data aggregation processes and strategies
Working experience in tools like TOAD, and SVN, for day-to-day activities is recommended.
